The Process

First, each learner has to choose a team of 2/3 students using the computer.

You have to decide on which polyhedron you are going to work on. From the list below choose,al least, 2:

Sfere (or semi-sfere),

cylinder,

cone,

pyramid,

cube,

prism.

You have to think that sometimes it`s not easy to see the polyhedric shape in a building, for instance, Bilbao Guggeheim museum is cyilinder-shaped but developed.

2. Select some famous buildings nor less than six per group. In the link, RESOURCES, you can choose all the information that you need but you can try to find new resources in the Net. When you have one, ask the teacher to check that nobody has chosen this monument before. You have to realise that time is so important!

3. Create a new folder on your PC for the images where you want to keep them and open a document for the texts.

4. Analyse each picture in this way:

Write name and place of each building, author and movement (if you know..), function.
What shape is related . Explain any question that you think can be interesting.
Choose the most suitable adjective to the form: Straight, Leaning, Dynamic, Well-balanced, Amazing, Boring, Original.
Tell me what materials they are made of
Explain the main characteristics and why you choose this.

5. Timetable: 4 sessions.

6. The search has to have one article format for "hanging up" in our blog.
